Old school delights – local favourites

If you happen to be in upper thomson, north of Singapore, you’re in for a feast. Along the stretch of shophouses at thomson ridge, one will be spoilt for choice with the cafes and eateries.

Depending on what you fancy, there are cafes serving waffles, pancakes, good coffee, pizzas, french, Thai, etc… We decided to try Old School Delights (OSD). Which also mean local favorites or food we enjoyed when we were young.

Local favorites which are decent can be found virtually anywhere in Singapore. However, good ones may not be conveniently located all in one place. At OSD, they have pretty good food and the cafe… Totally retro as there were blackboards everywhere with drawings and what old school meant. They sell snacks we enjoyed when we were little, small games/ toys, and they even have a set at each table for patrons in each toy box. Games like Donkey, five stones, rubber/ eraser fight were in each toy box.

For a feel of what is old school in Singapore, visit this cafe…
