This is my current favourite tze char (I.e tai pai dong – 大排档).
The location is not the most ideal as it’s nestled amongst the industrial estate/ car repair shops in Sin Ming Road. This coffee shop like restaurant has 2 seating areas, air conditioned or not. If you’re afraid of the heat, request for the air conditioned section.
However, the food here is simply delish! You must try at least once.
Love the 400g angus ribeye which comes with wedges and heart attack fried rice all for just $50! Chicken and pork satay were also great, tender meat with a piece of fat in the middle of each skewer, oolala! Bamboo clams were on promotion when we were there and they were really fresh and steamed to perfection.
A meal for 2 – 3 will set you back at about $120 if you order the ribeye and 2 other dishes. For 2, just the ribeye which comes with wedges and fried rice would be more than sufficient.
