How can one describe the Christmas spread at the Tea Lounge? It would have to be variety and quality food! As one of our favorite high tea venue, the better spread during the festive season only served to impress. We were just spoilt for choice with the tantalizing dishes right before us!
Starting with the cold dishes, we had the seafood salad and smoked fish with condiments.
Moving on to the hot foods, there were chicken satays, seafood stew (in chili crab sauce), slow cooked salmon (my favorite, went for 4 serves), savory puffs, pies, tarts and quiche, etc…
Then there were sandwiches, rillettes, pates, cheeses, nuts and crackers….
On to desserts, loved the waffle and soufflé stand! The waffles were so crispy and fluffy, they were really light and yummy! There were also macarons, log cake, and many other desserts which were so delectable but we were too stuffed for more… The one thing that I cannot miss is their plain scones with clotted cream and lemon curd…. Yyuuuummmmy!
Thanks for the rec- looks amazing. I will have to add ot to my list of places to try.
