Chili crab is one of the famous dishes in Singapore and Long Beach may be the best place to try this dish. There are different varieties of chili crabs as some restaurants use slightly different ingredients. My preference would still be Long Beach, and not just any branch. It would either be Kallang or the East Coast Park branch.
Another good dish to mention is the steamed live razor or bamboo clam with garlic. The freshness of the clams and the fragrance of the garlic… simply yums!
The kampong chicken and golden Phoenix fish were not what we’d usually order. They were included in the set dinner, tasted good but nothing special.
2 more dishes to recommend but no pics were homemade beancurd with Chet’s sauce and ‘dong jiang’ pine nut with vegetables.
