Favorite yakiniku in Singapore – Aburiya

Once in awhile we will have cravings for Aburiya…

Our favorite used to be Gyu Kaku until they changed their sauces, we stopped visiting.

Nowadays, having grilled beef with salt tastes so much better than having with sauces… Well, that’s moi personal preference.

We usually order our meats in tare sauce which is a soy based basting sauce commonly used in yakitoris. The marbling of the meat never fail to make us go yummmms….

Average price for a decent amount of beef, pork (we usually order pork cheek) and a bowl of rice will set you back at about $30 – $40 per pax.

Ordered 1 portion each of Hokkaido and AU wagyu karubi and 2 portions of Jo karubi plus 2 rice. Hokkaido wagyu was the best! The meal came to approx $95.
