This place was recommended by a fellow foodie, Jem for mala (麻辣), Sichuan numbing spicy hotpot.
There is an ala carte or buffet option and we chose the buffet as single dishes are quite pricy unless the diners eat very little. Each person cost between $45 to $50 depending on the type of drink ordered.
Menu, the restaurant and food can be found below (only 1/4 of the food we ordered was shown). The prawns were fresh and the cockles were yums. Fried yam and potato slices were really good after they were cooked for sometime, they just melt in your mouth.
The fish paste was also nice and smooth, one of the most popular dishes there, must try. Also we were given some snacks like xiao long Bao (steamed pork dumplings), fried dumplings, and dessert consisting of chestnut cake (slightly translucent whitish cake), niangao (glutinous cake with icing sugar), mantou (deep fried bun).
