Of the loom band items shown in this blog, the headphones and basket were the most challenging for me because there might be many layers to select the correct band on a peg when looming.

Red, yellow and orange were the colors chosen for this basket. Time taken to make this was about 3 hours.

After the first layer is in place, proceed with a double fishtail using just the hook. Place the fishtail on the 1st and 7th peg.

Then start looming away…

Once the bands are released, the basket needs to be formed. Using 2 bands, hold the ends together.

Complete the base of the basket with a few more bands and it’s done!
