Conveniently located along Bras Basah Road is SAM (Singapore Art Museum). For all those who love art in general especially abstract art, this is the place. Also a National Heritage Board museum, locals and PRs get to enter for free with a yellow sticker.
Free brochures and museum guides are available at the entrance reception. Programs change now and then so check their website for more details.
There are also some decent restaurants at the museum to take a break, have coffee, lunch or dinner.
There is a museum shop called Supermama. A tiny but interesting shop, there were cute displays on the wall.
Here are some art and exhibits at present. My favorite was the Golden Teardrop.
