Food in Korea basically consist of Kimchi, seaweed and rice at almost every meal. Dishes are generally healthy which means lots of fresh vegetables and little oil. Small dishes or accompaniments are also provided to enhance the meal like radish kimchi, soy bean sprouts, seasoned whitebait, pickles, etc.
Korean BBQ in particular was the family’s favourite. There were also various stir fries introduced in the trip. Here we go….
Korean BBQ, kimchi making, bibimbap, corn which tasted like glutinous rice, black pig stir fry, ginseng chicken soup (which looked blue due to the lighting at the restaurant), abalone porridge, pork stir fry with mushroom and leek, spicy seafood tofu soup, pan fry pork rib, ice cream waffle, white beef soup set, shabu shabu, large pork bone soup, myeongdong gyoza homemade noodle, myeongdong gyoza dumpling, Starbucks chocolate coated cake (delicious!), korean strawberries (yummy), chicken cabbage stir fry, Paris baguette prawn croquette sandwich (yummy), seafood (sashimi of sea cucumber, squid, live octopus) grilled abalone and top shell, grilled Saba.
