Contemporary Melting Pot & Bar (CM-PB)

With so many eateries in Dempsey, it’s hard to decide where to settle for brunch. J and I decided on CM-PB based on their menu.

This place is a little dark on the inside and would have preferred a brighter interior to enjoy our brunch. Nevertheless we opted for indoor seating to avoid the heat outdoors.

The drinks were too bland and were quite disappointing. Green energy just tasted like cucumber (without much apple or celery) and the other just tasted like watermelon juice (without apple or rock melon). I’d opt for other drinks and not the fruit juices the next time.

The wagyu beef cubes were a tad overcooked but the salad and mushrooms that came with it were not bad. But the pasta was nice with generous amount of seafood and the squid ink pasta cooked al dente. The cmpb burger patty was done medium rare, and everything served with it tasted good.

Overall nice place to hang out with friends or spend a lazy afternoon.
