G patisserie is helmed by patisserie Gwen Lim. Having trained at Le Cordon Bleu (Paris), her pastries are not only eye candies but delicious.
At $8 – $10 a cake, it’s worth every penny as each creation is delicately made with love for pastries. For example, within the tiramisu, there were 3 – 4 different layers and textures.
After trying Saint Honoré, Texture of Tiramisu and Nouvelle “G”, I felt like I was in heaven, they were all so good!
Saint Honoré – choux puffs, light caramel glaze, piped with chantilly cream, on a sablé base ($8)
Texture of Tiramisu – Lady fingers dipped in coffee, whipped mascarpone cream flavoured with rum ($9)
Nouvelle “G” – blend of 73% & 63% chocolate, sachet sponge on a crispy feuilletine base ($9)
Coffee is pretty good here too, they are also good with coffee art and may even be 3D if you’re lucky!
