Spain, Barcelona Montserrat

This beautiful monastery has a rich history and amazing scenery all around. Due to the high altitude, it can get a little chilly. For more information about this Benedictine monk retreat, Click here.

Took a day trip tour with Julia Travel and our guide, Eva was great.

On the way up to Montserrat

Great views and farmers market

Monastery surroundings

The cathedral and boys choir which starts at exactly 1pm. Do be there at least 15min before the start to get a seat/ standing space.

The crypt of the black Madonna

The congregation waiting to hear the boys choir taken from the crypt

On the way to try the local liquors
