Sitges is another seaside town in close proximity to Tarragona. It is known for its beaches, night spots and is a holiday favorite also known as mini Ibiza or St Tropez of Spain.

Its economy depends on tourism. There are no lack of hotels, restaurants, cafes, shopping stretch (like local shoe and clothing shops) and is one of the world’s most gay-friendly places. 

The lemon gelato above was so refreshing on that warm afternoon. The hazelnut or almond torro de agramunt from vicens torrones artesans was quite sweet but delicious! It’s a type of artisanal nougat made locally in Sitges.
