Kuang Seafood is an unassuming restaurant tucked at the intersection of Rangnam Alley and Ratchaprarop Road.
We were a party of 3 and from the extensive menu, we ordered 4 dishes which were all good.
Chayote in oyster sauce and garlic. This simple dish was delicious! Wok hei, slight lard flavor and the oyster sauce with the garlic fragrance gave the vegetables an oomph!
Steamed squid in lime garlic sauce. Not sure what the dish was named but that’s the taste I could recall. The squid was tender, with its eggs in the center. This dish was tangy, slightly spicy and very appetizing. The thin sauce was really flavorful, we drank it like soup.
Crab tang Hoon (rice vermicelli) was nice and popular amongst diners but we did not find it exceptional
Tea smoked duck was quite tasty. For the price, the portion was quite generous.
The total cost of the dinner was about S$50 which was reasonable.
