Ari is an interesting neighborhood with interesting cafes, small boutiques and quite a few condominiums. It’s a popular area for expats. We had a chance to briefly do a touch and go at Ari and were glad we did – we found great croque Madame!

So here we are at a condominium (Noble Reform) which also houses Casa Lapin, a nice cafe which we tried, as well as Panary Cafe which offers Dutch baby pancakes. The Thai iced tea was very well presented, very Instagram worthy but it’s taste was not as thick as it looked. The croque Madame on the other hand may look simple but it was big on taste and we were impressed by the generous ingredients at 190 baht.

On the streets, there’s also vendors selling local delights

Then we passed Salt restaurant and bar which is also pretty popular but only opens from 5pm till late.

If it wasn’t so warm and we had more time, it would be good to explore the different sois in Ari. Between sois 1 – 4 and at along phahon yothin road, am sure there are more interesting finds along the way…
