Okinawa is a warm, sunny and friendly place surrounded by beautiful beaches and greenery. It’s blue green waters attracted us to visit. Here’s an account of how we got there, where we stayed and what we did…
Flight
Japan airlines business class to Tokyo and a domestic flight to Okinawa approx 7hr from Singapore. Snacks served upon take off, breakfast served before landing
Internal flight – also JAL
Economy class – approx 2.5hr only non alcoholic drinks served
Stay
Aqua citta – no frills hotel, small room but provided most amenities we needed.
Marriott Okinawa resort – huge room overlooking the pool and sea. Ample space with indoor/ outdoor pool, gym. Good for family with kids
Hyatt regency – nice and classy hotel with small gym, outdoor pool and jacuzzi
Ryukyu Senagajima onsen – by far the nicest hotel with in room onsen, public outdoor onsen free for guests and in-house shiatsu massage available. Total bliss with beautiful view from the room.
