Recently, I’ve been looking up some healthy recipes and came across a really easy one, and with only 5 ingredients. The taste is clean and healthy but very palatable, and it’s only about 70 calories per piece. Plus it helps curb hunger, here it is.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chinese red dates roughly chopped
- 1 cup walnuts roughly chopped
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds (white or black or mixed)
Directions
- Set oven to 180 deg Celsius and toast oats, walnuts, sesame seeds mixture in a tray
- While the toasting is ongoing, mash up the bananas till they become liquid. Mash up every last bit or chunks of banana
- Once the mixture is toasted, pour them into the mashed banana, add chopped dates and mix well
- Lay parchment paper on the baking pan
- Pour the granola mix onto the tray and bake at 180degc for 30min
- Once ready, let the granola cool then cut into bite size
