Emporium Melbourne is a new mall in the heart of the CBD. Local and foreign designer labels are housed here. The mall felt so different from how I remembered Melbourne where it’s full of cultural and Victorian architectural (of course there were modern architectures like the skyscrapers but just not in the shopping stretch).
Not that Emporium is a skyscraper but opposed to the Victorian architecture, felt like a whole new world due to the modern interior and layout of shops and pop up stalls. Pretty interesting and fresh for the city.
We took a break from the exploration of the mall and planted ourselves at Botica, a cute little cosy cafe. Apparently they serve Mediterranean food but as we were there after lunch did not try. Their coffee and chai were great! Fragrant and smooth.
