Comnam – if it’s broken, don’t fix it, eat it!

For those who like Vietnamese food, there is another addition at Raffles City shopping mall.

Comnam was opened after Nam Nam. Instead of Vietnamese pho, Comnam offers broken rice.

The variety is good and prices reasonable. The full menu is listed below:

The restaurant is quite open. If you sit along the edge of the restaurant, passerbys will just peer over to see what you are having. I’d prefer more privacy. Unfortunately, bigger tables are placed along the edge.

Drinks/ dessert – other than the Vietnamese iced coffee, the tamarind peanut and red bean pandan jelly were too sweet but they still tasted good.

Mains – we ordered 2 types. The soupy ones are for those who prefer a lighter meal and the non soupy for a hearty one with more ingredients.

I liked the beef balls, four treasure and tomato tumeric prawns.

We also ordered a side dish (no photo) of steamed shrimp tapioca/ hue rice cake which was nice. The total bill came to less than $70 for 5 of us.
