Siam Kempinski revisited – Bangkok

Last we stayed at Kempinski residences Bangkok was Aug 2014 This week, we are back to stay at the hotel’s premier room. The main hall and reception was as nice as usual with grand flower arrangements with one of my favorite flowers, the hydrangea. They changed to another of my favorite, peonies the next day.

We were each served a welcome drink of pandanus and lemongrass. It was quite sweet but refreshing nonetheless as the weather was so hot and the ice helped.

The rooms were similar but the hotel room did not come with a kitchenette. However, it is bigger and more spacious at 51 sqm instead of 42 sqm at the residence. The bathroom with separate shower and toilet area was very spacious too.

We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool area.

The amenities were good. Free mini bar, lavazza coffee machine, and 4 different teas to choose from. Fresh fruits were provided everyday. They range from mango, dragonfruit, rambutan, pear, Thai  green orange.

We liked the easy to squeeze tubes from their toiletries range.

Once again, Siam Kempinski did not disappoint. Their staff always greet guests with a smile and they are always helpful and prompt. We would love to be back again the next trip as the location was tops!
