Vivid Sydney is an annual event of creativity, light and music. It usually runs at the start of winter in June. It’s a phenomenal event attracting millions of visitors with their really pretty lights and exhibits. I was fortunate to be there for one of the nights and was really impressed by the happenings around darling harbour & circular quay!

Darling harbour – water light show & a couple dancing along with the singing of the pretty performer…

Sydney opera house – for spectacular light projection on the sails, just beautiful, oh yes there was the vivid cruise as well!!!

Open bar for cocktails at the opera bar… The pink light  disco, a vivid inspired cocktail, made up of belvedere vodka, amaro Montenegro, vanilla, pomegranate, rhubarb bitters, Persian fairy floss was refreshing, fruity and the floss added that sweetness…. Such a delicious drink! 

Customs house, MOCA (museum of contemporary art Australia) – mesmerizing light shows projected on buildings…

Sydney harbour bridge 

Vivid night market… Where the aroma of food fills the air. We had the burger and German hot dog.
