Healthy homemade 5 ingredient granola bites

Recently, I’ve been looking up some healthy recipes and came across a really easy one, and with only 5 ingredients. The taste is clean and healthy but very palatable, and it’s only about 70 calories per piece. Plus it helps curb hunger, here it is.

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 cup rolled oats
  2. 1/2 cup chinese red dates roughly chopped
  3. 1 cup walnuts roughly chopped
  4. 2 ripe bananas
  5. 1/4 cup sesame seeds (white or black or mixed)

Directions

  1. Set oven to 180 deg Celsius and toast oats, walnuts, sesame seeds mixture in a tray
  2. While the toasting is ongoing, mash up the bananas till they become liquid. Mash up every last bit or chunks of banana
  3. Once the mixture is toasted, pour them into the mashed banana, add chopped dates and mix well
  4. Lay parchment paper on the baking pan
  5. Pour the granola mix onto the tray and bake at 180degc for 30min
  6. Once ready, let the granola cool then cut into bite size
